FMJ anniversary of October 2024
At FMJ, we take every opportunity to put our employees in the spotlight. This month, we had the pleasure of celebrating not one but THREE anniversaries!
Armand de Haan - 25-year anniversary
On Friday, October 18, we celebrated the 25-year anniversary of Armand de Haan (left in the first photo) at Rolloos. For a quarter of a century, Armand has been a valuable member of our team, contributing immensely to FMJ’s growth with his knowledge and experience.
Jaap Reedijk (right in the first photo) - Managing Director of FMJ Group, shares:Our very own Willie Wortel when it comes to CCTV systems! Whenever there's a problem to solve, Armand tackles the challenge head-on and comes up with a technical solution. No journey was too far for Armand. Across every continent, there's a CCTV system that he has put into operation. Armand was instrumental in introducing camera technology within the company and adding camera systems to Rolloos's product portfolio. At that time, Rolloos primarily dealt with weighing systems for hydraulic excavators and cranes. Armand's work evolved from building and adjusting weighing systems in farmer Gerrit's barn to constructing increasingly sophisticated camera systems in the workshop and commissioning them in the most exotic locations. From America to New Zealand, Brazil to South Korea, and from the jungles of Angola to the deserts of Saudi Arabia, Armand has seen every corner of the world. During these trips, airport baggage checks were always an adventure. As soon as the bag full of loose cables and components went through the scanner, the alarms would go off. You would then frantically pull everything out of the bag to show the customs officer that it was definitely not a bomb. Like a true MacGyver, you know how to solve the wildest problems with all the gear you always carry, resulting in a well-functioning system and a satisfied customer.
Arco Monster - 12,5-year anniversary
On Tuesday, October 1st, we celebrated the 12,5-year anniversary of Arco Monster (center in the first photo) as a financial controller at FMJ Group.

Arco, better known as 'F1', is an indispensable part of our team. For many, you are the 'go-to person' they can always rely on. We are incredibly grateful for everything you have contributed and congratulate you on your well-deserved bonus.
Rui Gouveia Abreu - 12,5-year anniversary
On Wednesday, October 16, we celebrated the 12,5-year anniversary of Rui Gouveia Abreu (center in the photo) at FMJ Yachting. Over the past years, Rui has proven to be a valuable asset within our team and contributes to our successes every day.

Rui started in April 2012 in Heinenoord and has actively contributed to the development of FMJ Yachting, as well as to impressive projects abroad. He is known for his constant smile and willingness to help, and he serves as an example for all FMJ employees. On behalf of FMJ and all your colleagues, thank you for your valuable contributions over the past 12.5 years. We look forward to working with you for the next 12.5 years. Here’s to 25!
