FMJ E&I Zeeland B.V. is looking for a Software (Automation) Engineer E&I, located in Heinkenszand.
FMJ E&I Zeeland B.V. (part of the FMJ Group) is the partner for electrical and instrumentation projects in markets like the industrial-, storage and transshipment-, Petrochemical- , Marine- & Offshore- en Food- & Pharma industry.
About the function
As a Software/Automation Engineer you are responsible for designing and writing PLC software for electrical control systems. You will test and commission this software, in-house, but also on locations. The emphasis of your work is on software-based commissioning, expansion and troubleshooting of our systems. You are a team player, but you can also work independently. Your tasks also include technical documentation and specification of the project. As a Software/Automation Engineer you report to the general manager.
Job requirements
- Completed MBO education in electrical engineering / industrial automation. HBO work and thinking level.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in the industrial and maritime sector
- In possession of VCA-VOL or willing to obtain it
- Knowledge and experience with PLC systems such as Bachmann, Siemens, Allen Bradley etc.
- Knowledge and experience with MS Office, MS Visio, Excel, Access and Visio
- Mastering the Dutch and English language
- Good communication skills
- You are analytically strong, stress resistant and problem solving
- Accurate, customer-oriented, professional and flexible attitude
- Good awareness of quality, safety, well-being and environment
