The traineeship
Following a development programme that is tailored to your capabilities and qualities, you lay a sound foundation for your further career. In this programme, you follow various training courses and work in at least four different positions. This allows you to get a broad view of the possibilities and you get a feel for the various FMJ branches. Through training, coaching and work experience you discover where your talent lies and how you can make the best use of this.

The training programme
The training programme has a technical business approach and there is plenty of attention for your personal development. For example, you will be assigned a permanent mentor who will coach you on technical, communication and social skills. This programme is supported by various external parties such as:

We also use various training organisations for the technical and engineering aspects, and we have our own FMJ Academy.

Practical experience
You’ll gain a lot of practical experience and get to know the workplace from the ground up. This experience will enable you later, as a project manager, to get a better sense of your team members and guide them. Within two years we will prepare you to become a potential manager and/or technical specialist.
